RE: Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner Training Program with Dr. Linda Ledray, originally scheduled for October 1, 2, 3, 16 & 17, 1999

(below is a reprinted statement...)

Unfortunately the Seton Hall University Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) Training Program must be postponed. At present the State of New Jersey is developing standard requirements for the SANE Program in New Jersey.

As the requirements are not yet finalized, rather than offer a workshop and find that we have omitted a necessary element from the program, we have reluctantly decided that it would be in the participant's best interest to await the final requirements from the State.

I hope that you consider participating in a SANE workshop in January 2000. Tentative dates are January 5,6,7,8, and 9, 2000. Brochures will be mailed.

Sorry if this postponement has caused you any inconvenience. Should you have any questions, please don't hesitate to telephone me at (973) 761-9286. I do hope to see you in January 2000.

Sincerely,

Leona Kleinman, EdD, RN, CS
Associate Professor and Director
Accute Care Nurse Practitioner Program
