These meetings have been set up as informal question and answer sessions about the role of the SANE nurse (as outlined in the New Jersey "Standards for Providing Services to Survivors of Sexual Assault") and the status of SANE/SART program development in your county.
Directions to Seton Hall:
From 280 East - Take Exit 9, Mt. Pleasant Avenue/West Orange/Montclair. Stay on Brennan Drive to the End. Make a Right onto Northfield Avenue. Go two lights and turn left onto Gregory Avenue. Continue straight to the end of Gregory Avenue (Gregory Avenue becomes Wyoming Avenue). At the end of Wyoming Avenue, turn left into South Orange Avenue. Drive through the Village of South Orange, the campus is approximately 1.5 miles on the right.
From 280 West - Take Exit 10, west Orange/South Orange. Proceed to the first light and turn left onto Northfield Avenue. Go three lights and turn left onto Gregory Avenue. Continue straight to the end of Gregory Avenue (Gregory Avenue becomes Wyoming Avenue). At the end of Wyoming Avenue, turn left into South Orange Avenue. Drive through the Village of South Orange, the campus is approximately 1.5 miles on the right.
From 78 East - Take Exit 49B (Maplewood). Make the 2nd right, which is a jug handle, and cross over Springfield Avenue onto Valley Street. Take this approximately 3 miles to South Orange Avenue. Turn right and proceed 1 mile to the University. Enter through the Farinella Gate on the right.
From 78 West - Take Exit 50B (Millburn), and turn right onto Vauxhall Road. Go three lights and bear right onto Valley Street. Take this approximately 3 miles to South Orange Avenue. Turn right and proceed 1 mile to the University. Enter through the Farinella Gate on the right.
From Garden State Parkway North or South - Take the Parkway to Exit 145. Follow directions for 280 West.
Directions to Community Medical Center:
From Northern New Jersey - Take the Garden State Parkway South to Exit 82A (Route 37 West). Take the first jughandle to Hospital Drive. Cross the highway and the Medical Center will be on your left. Proceed one block to the main entrance. The visitor's parking garage will be on your right after turning into the hospital entrance.
From Southern New Jersey - Take the Garden State parkway North to Exit 82A (Route 37 West). Take the first jughandle to Hospital Drive. Cross the highway and the Medical Center will be on your left. Proceed one block to the main entrance. The visitor's parking garage will be on your right after turning into the hospital entrance.
From Betsy Ross/Tacony Palmyra Bridge - (If taking Betsy Ross: Take Route 90 to Route 73 East, then follow directions below.) Take Route 73 East to Route 70. Take Route 70 East for approximately 37 miles to Route 37 East. Continue on Route 37 East for approximately 7 miles. Make a right onto Hospital Drive. Proceed one block to the main entrance. The visitor's parking garage will be on your right after turning into the hospital entrance.
From Philadelphia International Airport/Walt Whitman Bridge - Take Route 95 North to the Walt Whitman Bridge exit. Take the second right for 295 North to Route 70 East. Take Route 70 East for approximately 40 miles to Route 37 East. Continue on Route 37 East for approximately 7 miles. Make a right onto Hospital Drive. Proceed one block to the main entrance. The visitor's parking garage will be on your right after turning into the hospital entrance.
